Many physical activities seem best started in our youth. After all, we seem to have more time, more energy, and more flexibility as young people. However, is it possible to be too old for ballet?
At the International Ballet Academy, we believe the art of ballet should be available to everyone. Whether one is a toddler or twenty years retired, ballet can be enjoyed by everyone. In short, no, you are not too old for ballet!
In fact, ballet continues to offer significant benefits as we age. It is never too late to begin ballet at the International Ballet Academy.

Can Adults Fit Ballet Into Busy Schedules?
As busy adults, it can be difficult to find time to squeeze in a new activity. With the unique online platform of the International Ballet Academy, we make it possible for everyone to fit ballet into their routine.
All our training is down at your own pace and in your own space. This means no commutes to a dance studio during rush hour after a long day at work. There is no stress if you get busy and miss a week. This is truly designed to be done at your own pace.
As soon as you register, you will have immediate access to the first week’s lessons. You can go through the nine-month program at your own pace, taking your time to master each skill. Whether you train multiple times per week or once a week, our program is designed to fit into your busy schedule.
You will have access to all the prerecorded lessons. However, what makes our program unique is the combination of those asynchronous lessons with our live monthly lessons. You will also have access to our community page to connect with faculty, dancers, and the International Ballet Academy families.
Are you too old for ballet? Are you too busy for ballet? Not with our unique program.
